A Lifetime in Hair
Leo's career began on the salon floor as a teenager, sweeping, observing, soaking up every technique she could from the stylists around her. She went on to spend eight years travelling the world as a private hairstylist to celebrity clients, working backstage, on tour and on location, and refining a personal style rooted in classical cutting and modern colour.
In 2001 she came off the road and opened her first salon, Leo Mancini in Ascot, a deliberately small, deliberately unhurried boutique designed to be the opposite of the high-street chair-churn. Years later the salon moved to its current home on Eton High Street, serving Windsor, Eton and the surrounding villages as Leo & Simon.
Today, every appointment still starts with a real conversation, every colour is mixed by hand, and every client is treated as a long-term relationship, not a transaction.
